Mrs Emma Prigmore wife of Judge M F Prigmore of Sweet Springs was among 29 killed when a Long Beach California grandstand collapsed Saturday March 24. The judge was injured but not seriously. Prigmore leaves three children and will be buried at Sweet Springs.

Mrs Elizabeth Sullivan aged six died at her home in Slater after a short illness. She was the daughter of Elisa McAfee born in Osage County Missouri. Her first husband was John Shelton, who died leaving a son LeRoy. Her second husband Owen Sullivan died years ago. She is survived by two sisters and four brothers, including Mrs John Bockting and Milton McAfee. Funeral services were conducted by Rev R M Talbert at the home and burial followed in the local cemetery.
