Roy Yates Dies at 17 of Tuberculosis in Slater
Roy Yates died at his uncle Joe Yates home in Slater Monday morning May 16 after eight months of illness. He was born at 2 p m yesterday by Eld G E Shanklin. He leaves no immediate family, was reared by his uncle, and his funeral was led by Rev W T Henson at the residence with burial in Slater city cemetery.

Finger Cut Off At Slater Round House Incident

Boy Odell Injured Leg In Saturday Accident
