Severe Hail and Wind Storm Strikes Johnson County
A severe hail rain and wind storm swept across northern Johnson county, damaging barns and bridges, with four and a half inches of rain in places. A tornado from Fayetteville to Valley City killed a boy and wounded a woman near Warrensburg, blowing down homes and unroofing buildings.
