Death of Wm Zane Pioneer of Saline County
Wm Zane a long time Saline pioneer died at his West Marshall home Sunday afternoon June 15 1915 after a month long illness. Born September 5 1834 in Senapeth Ditburg Germany he came to America in 1855 and settled in Missouri 1865. He owned a fort near Marshall 4 miles southwest which he retained except six years in Colorado. He married twice first to Mina King in 1860 with ten children four surviving. second to Katherine Davin in 1902 and later to Susan Heasemer. Funeral at St Marys near Shackelford was conducted by Father ONeil.

Henry Bloser of Enaline County died Saturday June 14 at 10 p m at his home west of Blosser after a paralytic stroke June 9 aged 82 years 2 months and 20 days Born March 24 1851 in Virginia of Swiss Revolutionary stock he moved with family to Saline County in 1865 later living near Marshall He was an elder and supporter of the Christian church a Republican stalwart and hunter devoted to family surviving are Louie William Quincy Joseph and Brakin Blosser with others noted.

Joseph Wicker, 77, of Pertia and Saline counties, died Sunday night at his son Delmer Wicker's home in Webb City from injuries after a fall from a wagon days earlier. Funeral services were held at Black Water Chapel with Rev. B. V. Alton officiating before burial in the cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Delmer, a brother J. J. Wicker, two sisters Phoebe Charles of Sweet Springs and J B Crews of Houstonia.
