Death of Jacob H. Fisher Real estate man shot at home
Jacob Harness Fisher, a prominent real estate and abstract dealer of this city, was accidentally shot at his home 412 East Yerby street Wednesday morning around 7:50. The blast occurred while he was aiding his wife and daughter in packing to go to the Springs. a shotgun discharged as he moved a cord from a closet, and he died within moments. He was 49, born near Magohd, and had served as county public administrator. The coroner ruled death self-inflicted during the gun removal. Survived by wife, three children, and a sister, with funeral held Thursday at 2:30 conducted by Elder B. T. Wharton.
