Boy, Killott Injured in Runaway Wagon Accident

Fiendish Wire Trapping Suspected Near Marshall
Last week near Marshall, a five foot high telephone wire with one end on a pole and the other to a hedge tree was strung across Slater and Marshall highway about four miles northeast of Marshall. A passing car crashed into the wire after its engine died, throwing rider and horse, but no one was hurt. The rider fled, leaving no name. authorities are pursuing the perpetrator over this inhumane act as community anger grows.

Narrow escape after engine explosion near Wanamaker
