Three Men Injured in Cow Creek Saw Mill Explosion
The Marshall Republican reports a saw mill boiler explosion on Cow Creek near Sulphur Springs five miles north of Marshall. Three men were injured, with Leslie Service severely scalded after the boiler exploded, reportedly due to valve shutdown or low water. Other workers, including S.E Isbell and W. W. Clemmens, sustained lesser injuries. The engine and outfit were wrecked, a horse died, and debris injured nearby ties.
