Father and two sons drown in Missouri River near Glasgow
On Friday night August 14 Len Cook and his sons Jewel 14 and William 11 went swimming in the Missouri River near Glasgow. Len held William on his back when a deep hole pulled them under. Jewel, unable to swim, jumped in to help and also drowned. Jewel and William’s bodies were recovered the next day, Len Cook remained missing as of Wednesday. Funeral services for Jewel and William were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Glasgow residence conducted by Rev A F Pearson.
