Funeral Tuesday 10 am from family home conducted by Rev A R Faris. burial at Ridge Park Cemetery.

Tragedy Near Higber As Speeder Hits Freight Engine
Estil Hudson and Charles Shafer were killed and W D Edwards injured when a gasoline speeder returning from a Elliott dance collided with a K T freight engine. They misread the engine headlight as a switch light at about forty miles per hour and could not stop in time. Hudson was decapitated and Shafer lost an arm and a leg. Edwards was knocked unconscious and suffered head and neck injuries. Glen Peterson survived with minor scrapes.
