Municipal Council met in Miniota Manitoba on October 4 1967 with all members present Reeve H S Hyndman presiding Minutes from September 13 1967 were adopted Letters from several bodies were received including Manitoba Centennial Pioneer Awards Highway 24 Committee and Manitoba Golden Boys Movement The council approved a 7000 annual assessment to the District Weed Control Board and arranged a two week holiday for the secretary A schedule of September school tax rebates was approved and paid A Pioneer Banquet with 75 and over invited to receive certificates was authorized Grants of 3 mills over two thirds of the 1967 assessment totaling 5521 80 over three years were approved for Hamiota Senior Citizens Park Residences Inc Delegations to attend Weed Control Annual Meeting were authorized and cheques 14510 14575 totaling 12732 86 were approved for payment The council adjourned to November 7 1967
