Canada Savings Bonds opens with new features and higher limit
The 22nd Canada Savings Bonds campaign starts October 2 introducing five features including a 5.48 percent average yield to maturity and a starting rate of 4 4 percent. The Centennial Series set sales records at 2.4 billion and over two million applications. New eligibility includes corporations and organizations resident in Canada. The maximum holding rises to 50 000 from 30 000. Payroll savings continues with regional organizers in Manitoba.
