The annual meeting of the Ratepayers of The Village of Miniota will be held Monday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the Miniota Community Centre.
The Rural Municipality of Miniota Manitoba will hold a February 3 1970 meeting at the Municipal Office Miniota to consider a by law opening Fifth Street described as parts of Blocks F and G on Plan 631 and SW quarter section 31 13 26 W. The plan by John Howard Lennon Brandon is on file with the Secretary Treasurer for public viewing. The meeting will hear claims of persons whose lands may be prejudiced and requests to be heard. Lulu Adams Robinson died at Brandon General Hospital December 13 1969 at age 82. She was born near Palmerston Ontario and moved to Manitoba in 1907. She married Gilbert Robinson January 12 1909 in Crandall and was widow since 1947. Survived by three daughters Hazel Chapple Etola Crombie Sadie Gray and son Warren. eight grandchildren two great grandchildren. sisters Emma Gilmour and Margaret Bell. Funeral December 15 at Brockie Donovan Chapel with Jehovahs Witness minister Thomas Dowd officiating. burial Crandall Cemetery. Pallbearers include Wallace Warren Clarence Warren Frank Warren Brodie Currie Roy Currie Murray McRoberts.
