Canadian cartoonist Len Norris uses mild satire to poke at Canadian foibles with wit never vicious. Born in London in 1913, he moved to Canada at age 12 and work across varied jobs before serving in Ottawa during the war. He later edited cartoons for a Vancouver paper and won the National Newspaper Award in 1951.
