Sintaluta lady's unusual hobby of salt and pepper shakers
Mrs. W. C. Diment, former Sintaluta postmaster’s wife, has grown a collection of about 245 pairs over nine years. Her unique babies come from England, Denmark, Australia, the United States, and Canada including Vancouver, Victoria, Revelstoke, Atikokan, Port Arthur, Fort William, Kenora, Brandon, Wolseley, Indian Head, Edmonton, and more. She plans to add more and dislikes dusting, calling the hobby highly interesting.

Manitoba lays out a stepped up reforestation program planting about 1,850,000 trees this year.
