Market Conditions Comment by National Live Stock Commission
The commission urges shipping soon for butcher cattle light and medium fleshed cattle as grass cattle appear and a large crop looms. Rail delay eases and overdue cattle and fat hogs will reach market, likely tempering gains. If spring rains hold, receipts should be moderate and markets for cattle and hogs steady, with any upturn viewed as temporary.
