The City of Glenwood invites bids on all or part of 18500 City Hall Bonds to be issued June 15 1920. Bonds carry 6 percent interest payable annually and mature from five to twenty years. Bids to be opened at the June 3 1920 regular council meeting. sealed bids with the City Treasurer W C Rathke. The council reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Mrs F M McCluskey hosted a reception for Miss Etta Ewing who travels with her father to California. Many young matrons and husbands attended. Refreshments were served. Mr Ewing and daughter received thanks from church and neighbors. Mr Wiwing and daughter plan a year in Los Angeles after a Kansas City visit with son George Ewing and family.
