Glenwood and Mills County citizens report a busy period with social visits and local governance. Events include storms killing Nebraska cattle, residents attending conventions, storefront updates, road and street recordkeeping, and upcoming public notices as the Perkins law board plans visits.
The Glenwood Commercial Club will hold its regular meeting Monday night to discuss important community matters in general and ensure strong support for Glenwood and Mills County. Residents are urged to attend and show willingness to boost the area.
The project near the depot requires four shovel trips to fill a rail car. A hill hole has been dug, five telephone cable spools arrived for outside work by the Iowa Telephone Co. Pole removal from the square will begin soon. Sidewalk riders increase, warned of a city ordinance against sidewalk riding.
