Eight Are Murdered at Moore Home in Sunday Night Tragedy
Emerson correspondent reports eight people at the Moore residence in Villisea were murdered while asleep Sunday night. Victims include I. M. Moore and wife, their four children, Mrs. Van Gilden and daughter. Skulls fractured and bodies stabbed with a butcher knife. Bloodstained weapons found. Bloodhounds were secured from Freemont county, Neb., early Monday. No motive is known.

Malvern Wedding Offers Intimate Family Ceremony
Jason Tenant and Miss Alta Boyer of Malvern wed at the bride’s parents home with about forty relatives present. Rev. R. J. Tenant performed the ring ceremony as Stewart Foster sang and Miss Irla Salyers played the wedding march.
