Obituary of Henry B. McMillan Pioneer of Glenwood and Tabor
Henry B. McMillan born November 26 1838 in Port Glenore Ireland died July 18 1918 in Glenwood Indiana after a long life as a pioneer farmer and respected citizen. He emigrated in 1859 settled near Tabor Iowa 1868 farmed Fremont county and later lived with his daughter in Glenwood. He married Nancy McCoy in 1862 and had twelve children eleven survived him. He served in the dray business during the War and was active in the Episcopal church and I O O F lodge. Funeral services were held in Tabor with a ceremony by the M B church and I O O F members provided by Glenwood lodge officials.

Howard Vorney of Independence Iowa wed Neva McClintock after securing a license. Wheat yields in Mills county are reported as very high with notable samples: a 13 acre winter wheat field by Lawrence Bogart yielded 664 bushels by machine, a sample shown in Hamilton & Matthews window, and the Inatlvation farm east of Pacific Junction expected about 40 bushels per acre, with other reports at 25 bushels and more.
