Miss Edith Evernham of Omaha visited Glenwood folks over the weekend. Local residents report numerous family visits, travel to Hastings and Plattsmouth, and weather noted with a promising corn crop amid a light wheat drop.

Jenny McMuilai Cimilian and others died recently after illness with funeral services planned at Tabor M E Church. Robert Godsey, 17 months, died in Plattsmouth after a three week illness. father Lieut. Godsey returned from Camp Kearney for the funeral in Baclife Junction.
Louis Finch and Lulu Cogley both of Glenwood were united in marriage in Omaha on Saturday July 13 and will reside on the Finch home farm northwest of Glenwood. The Tribune offers congratulations. A social gathering honored Miss Rock of Villisca at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Rowe. Fifty young people enjoyed lawn games and refreshments. Faith Dunn, daughter of Mr and Mrs Lou Dunn, injured after colliding with a Hudson Super Six driven by Mrs Jay Wright while learning to ride a bicycle near the Glenwood Auto Co. garage.
