Doings of the Death Angel Jochim Arp dies at 78
Jochim Arp aged 78 years died of kidney trouble at 2 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home 10 miles northwest of Glenwood in St. Marys township. A well known farmer he lived there twenty years. Survived by wife and six children Henry Arp Randolph Neb William Emil and Otto Arp Council Bluffs Charles Arp Pender Neb and Mrs Emma Schiemeier. Funeral from residence at 11 o'clock Thursday, service at Bloomer settlement brick church at 1 pm Rev Mgr Hoff officiating. Burial in Bloomer cemetery.

Eunice Stamper age 12 daughter of W M Stamper of the Cottage Hotel Malvern died at her home this morning at 6 o'clock. The home is under quarantine for diphtheria but the family contends the death was due to quinsy. Funeral held privately this afternoon at 3 o'clock per quarantine rules.
