Cavan Township Council Minutes May 6 1959 Millbrook
Well over 1,000 Canadians, most of them civil servants, live permanently in the Arctic. The Cavan Township Council met in regular session at 1 p.m. with Reeve L A Hooton presiding. Minutes from the previous meeting were adopted. Discussions covered tax arrears, school district reorganization, grants to the Millbrook Agricultural Society, approval of debentures for new high schools, and various correspondence and accounts. The meeting adjourned to June 4 at 1 p.m.
