Fraserville L O L No 46 held its annual meeting on December 2. Installation was by Worshipful County Master Loftus Staples and Deputy Grand Lecturer Willis Cunningham. Lunch followed.

Christmas Party of Millbrook Ministerial Association

The Christmas gathering of the Millbrook and District Ministerial Association met Monday evening at the United Church Parsonage Millbrook. Rev and Mrs Francis Chisholm hosted eighteen adults and eight children for a turkey supper. Rev Harold Heustin presided and welcomed Dr and Mrs Harold Neal. Carol singing led by Mrs R R Bonsteel and others contributed to an evening program. Gifts from the Christmas Tree were given to the children and the night ended with a brief worship service.

Pot Luck Quilters Meeting November 21 1957

The Pot Luck Quilters met at Mrs Jas Nelsons home on Thursday November 21 1957. Twenty three members shared a turkey dinner at noon and one quilt was completed in the afternoon. Mrs Austin Worr Cavan drew the lucky number on the quilt ticket sales. Christmas gifts were exchanged among attendees.
