From Logan Hendin, Jung a4, a group of 1 H club girls accompanied by County Agent Goden L Stoker left for Logan to attend the 4 H short course. Participants include Kathrine Martin of Milfornt Marie Hutchings Ruth Pearce Beaver and Wilma Myers Minereville. The program featured lectures demonstrations discussions and daily educational tours to points of interest including the sempue tour experimental farm the campus geology and the Segoe milk plant with nature study. Evenings from 1 to 7 p t were for recreation.
Remodeling of the Firmage Theatre begins after preliminaries with major changes planned. The showplace will close for six days from Monday and reopen on Sunday July 4 nearly transformed, adding restrooms and ladies lounge, enlarging the foyer, pushing the ticket booth to the sidewalk, adding rows in the rear, moving aisles, increasing seating gradient, and installing complete air conditioning to make the venue premier in southern Utah.

Beginning at 10 o clock the day's events wind down with the Veteran Ladies Auxiliary serving lunch all day at Milford hotel and light refreshments at the casino. Games of chance provide diversion for crowds during the celebration.
