Progresive Clothes Shop Burglary In Milford
Thieves who knew what they wanted forced the back door of Altman Store, the Progressive Clothes Shop in Milford, last Sunday night and left with clothing and accessories. They did not disturb other stock. an iron bar lay near the door. Items taken include three suits, a suitcase, two travel bags, a fur coat, three hats, three pairs of oxford shoes, a sweatshirt, bow ties, hose and lingerie. Local officers offered no firm leads.

Beaver Guards Entrains for Two-Week Training Camp
Members of the Utah National Guard company from Beaver entrained Friday evening for Salt Lake City to join a two-week training period at Jordan Narrows. The Cedar City artillery company rode the same train for the Salt Lake drill. Local residents and visitors were noted, including Scotland’s Mr and Mrs Charles Anderson visiting Beaver, and several residents travelling to Salt Lake or Gunnison.
