The Lions Club held a Tuesday evening banquet at the Union Pacific dining room with about thirty five cast members from the Follies of Milford. Toasts and a mock trial plus censures and orations entertained guests as Dr L F Kohler explained mustaches on ballet girls and George Jefferson urged continued civic effort for Milford Utah.

Memorial Day Observances Honor Fallen at Milford and Minersville
Memorial Day services and grave decorations were held Wednesday in Milford and Minersville. The Milford parade featured the U P band led by C A Bailey, a color guard, firing squad, and Legion honor guards, with addresses by Leonard Bowen and A J Atkin. The Minersville program included invocation, vocal solo, Bowen's address, and rifle salutes before graves were decorated. Milford shops closed in observance.

Cars Crash but Occupants Escape
An automobile collision occurred Wednesday afternoon about two o clock on Main street at the Jefferson Block corner. A Ford coupe carrying three Japanese workers for Union Pacific collided with Chas Baxter’s Dodge sedan. The Ford overturned but all occupants escaped unharmed after one was briefly pinned. the Dodge sustained a dented side.

Big Farm Equipment Auction Near Baker Nevada Sold
Otto Meek of Baker Nevada offered one of the largest selections of farm equipment at auction. Bidders bought his live stock, machinery, harness, and household goods displayed at the Stockyards corral and surrounding area. Enough woods were auctioned to stock a 6500 acre ranch.
