Charles L Watson a West Point soldier 44 years old and veteran of the Spanish American War was killed by a north bound West Shore train near Highland Falls New York between 9 and 11 PM yesterday His body lay about 200 feet north of the Highland Falls station He had come to Newburgh after pay day and had been drinking and started for West Point then walked toward Highland Falls He is described as president of the West Point Camp United Spanish Veterans and home in Buffalo with 19 years service
