Rancho Palos Verdes AP reports 17 year old John York completed the 44 mile Catalina Island swim in 16 hours 42 minutes after being pulled from the water near shore last year. VENT WEEKEND presents a two day reenactment of farm life circa 1800 at Carriage Hill Farm near Dayton on Skull Road.
