State pilots preschool traffic safety before school bus rides
In Ohio a pilot program by the Department of Highways educates preschool children on traffic basics before bus riding. Georgia Blackwell notes pedestrain accidents in 4 to 5 year olds and 1700 preschool facilities will receive brochures designed with AAA for ages 2 to 6. A $16 425 AAA contract funds the effort as part of a potential statewide curriculum.
