Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge George Heitzler and two associates survived a plane crash on Interstate 71 after a court ruling framed by the Ohio Supreme Court controversy. The single engine plane lost power, struck wires, and nosed into the highway near Blue Ash, injuring two companions.
