University of Cincinnati analyst Dr. Garland Parker reports an estimated national fall college enrollment of 11 126 000, a surprise drop after prior growth. Ohio public campuses show a 3.2 percent rise, while reasons include new jobs, higher fees, quotas, and saturation in minority and continuing education recruitment.
