Allegheny to appeal $50,000 damage award
Federal judge ordered Allegheny Airlines to pay $50,000 in a case sparked by Ralph Nader being bumped from a flight. Judge Paisie Richey allocated $25,000 to Nader and $25,000 to the Connecticut Citizen Action Group for embarrassment, plus $3 for a Boston ticket and $7 for long distance calls.
