Cold snap hits many cities with lows in the 30s
Temperatures across the South and Midwest show a mix of 30s and 40s with scattered snow in northern Ohio. Elyria, Cleveland, and Chardon reported light snow late last night, while Columbus may reach 30 today and 28 tomorrow. A cold mass from Canada drives the unsettled pattern. The Rev. Alexander John Forsyth, an English divine, invented the percussion principle in firearms in 1807.
