In Birmingham Alabama an enraged landlord killed a woman tenant and wounded her husband and baby then shot at two ambulance workers before killing himself. Coroner and police tied the spree to a domestic dispute in the tenants apartment. The husband Frank E Cheney 53 a postal clerk died by suicide after the attack. The couple were near their wedding anniversary and the landlord had a history of weapons in the house.
