Singapore Shipyard Blast Kills 59 on Greek Tanker

Drug store holdup indictment dropped

Hamilton Butler County prosecutors dropped the indictment charging James Kennedy formerly of Cincinnati with drug theft in the April 21 holdup of the Lewis Drug Store in Middletown. The dismissal followed a judge’s suppression of evidence from a police lineup. Kennedy was jailed awaiting transfer to the Ohio Penitentiary for prior convictions in Warren and Cuyahoga counties.
