A 17 year old, Charles Randolph, walked roughly three miles in near zero weather to locate help after a twin engine plane carrying seven Oklahoma City residents crashed on Haystack Mountain near Aspen. Randolph guided rescuers to the wreckage where he was airlifted to Aspen in fair condition with frostbite and neck injuries. The others, including C B Cameron and pilot Terry DePlois, were flown to Denver in serious condition. co survivors were treated in Aspen.
