Three Die In Cincinnati Beechmont Ledge Crash
Three young men from the Cincinnati area were killed in a crash on the Beechmont levee when their car went out of control after passing another vehicle. Richard A. White 20, Douglas Beckler 20, and Donald F. Beuke 18 died. Lawrence E. Smith Jr. 22 of Allentown Pa. was in serious condition at General Hospital with internal injuries. The convertible, driven by White, plunged after hitting the guard rail on the Little Miami River bridge. All occupants were thrown from the car except White who remained secured in his seat.
