Okay To Whip Crippled Kid Author Says
Chicago AP reports author Louise Baker, a crippled child herself, argued at a national convention that spanking a crippled child can be appropriate in certain cases. Baker, who lost a leg in a crash, described how spankings accompanied by her progress with crutches, skating and baseball shaped her adjustment. She urged caution and stressed not all crippled children need such discipline. A closing note mentions a snail's pace measure of 23 inches an hour.
