Hoover memo claims Cuba warned of JFK plot before death

The Justice Department reportedly found a 1964 memo in which J Edgar Hoover wrote he was told Lee Harvey Oswald discussed with Cuban officials a plan to kill President John F Kennedy. The FBI and DOJ declined to comment as today’s Washington Post quotes informed sources.

Chrysler Wins Army Tank Contract Offering 1500 HP XM1

The Army awarded Chrysler a $4.7 billion development contract to build the XM1 battle tank, with $196.2 million for 11 test models over three years. The plan includes a 58 ton vehicle, 1500 horsepower turbine engine, and a 105 or 120 millimeter gun, aiming to field 3,325 tanks at about $1.5 million each. Ford budget forecast shows 1978 deficit risk rises

Rescue ships save 14 from wrecked Carnelian-1
