Minster teen deaths lead to driver conviction in Ohio
John Kremer was found guilty of one count of vehicular homicide in the deaths last March of eight Minster teenagers on a rural road south of Celina. Seven other vehicular homicide charges were dismissed. He also faced charges of failing to obey a stop sign and failing to stop at an assured clear distance.

In a 30 minute trial near the Ohio Indiana border, Kremer pleaded innocent to all charges then changed to no contest after all but one vehicular homicide count was dropped. Judge Myers gave one year license suspension and a $300 court-cost fine with no jail. He may drive to work after 30 days with proof of insurance. The U S Mint in San Francisco known as the Granite Lady is back in mint condition after a four year 4 1/2 million renovation. It now houses a coin museum offices and computers with a display featuring a 1907 $20 gold piece insured for 1 million and gold bars and nuggets valued at over 3 1/2 million. The site opened in 1874 designed by Alfred B Mullett and once stamped 1.33 billion coins before a larger mint opened nearby.
