Middletown man pleads insanity in shooting case
Ollie J. Haddix, 64, of 3408 Jewel Ave., faces attempted murder and felonious assault with gun specifications after firing a shotgun at a neighbor Aug. 5. He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and a competency hearing is set for Dec. 17 with a Dec. 28 trial date.
