Transportation Bill Clears Ohio House
The Ohio House approved a Democratic endorsed transportation bill 58 to 19, creating a cabinet level director of transportation with four divisions including mass transit and planning. The bill aims to qualify Ohio for federal block grants though critics call it bureaucratic and wasteful. A separate measure to require motor numbers on auto titles passed 66 to 11 and moves to the Senate.
