Slowing spread of methamphetamine in workplaces noted
Quest Diagnostics reports 2004 workplace drug tests show a modest 3 percent rise in positive methamphetamine results and a 6 percent increase for all amphetamines, with overall drug positives flat at 4.5 percent. While meth use has surged recently, the trend suggests a slowdown in workplace spread, amid ongoing enforcement and treatment efforts.
