Funeral services set for crash victims in Franklin

Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Helen Marie Warmoth 71 of Franklin. Services for her daughter Mrs. Helen Marie Adams 51 of Franklin are set for 10 a.m. Monday at Eaton Funeral Home Franklin. Both died in a two car crash on Ohio 4 north of Germantown Thursday. Burial is in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation 3 5 and 7 9 p.m. tomorrow at Eaton Funeral Home. Adams officiant Rev Eugene Wallace. Mrs. Warmoth died yesterday at St Elizabeth Hospital Dayton. Her husband George died in 1972. She survived by three sons, a daughter, a sister and brothers, 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Two grandchildren are Tom Warmoth and Jim Warmoth.

U S flag presented to Wayne School during bicentennial program

U S Rep Thomas Kindness presented an American flag that flew over the Capitol to Wayne Ele ene School in a Pontennial program. Students from each class raised the flag, planted a 6 foot blue spruce gifted by Edgewood LEA, and fourth grader Tim Rednour gave a historical reading on the blue spruce.
