House backs 14.5 billion urban redevelopment plan

The House approved a 14.5 billion three year bill to reverse urban blight and decay, funding community development grants and a 1.2 billion one year extension of housing and rent subsidies. It would also raise FHA loan limits to 60 000 and allow construction in flood plains with risk disclosures.
