A statewide Ohio Poll survey finds 41 percent of adults describe themselves as middle of the road or moderate, 30 percent as conservatives, and 18 percent as liberals. Conservatives dominate in the northwest while liberals lead in the northeast. age more strongly predicts liberal leanings.
U S Rep Charles A Mosher R Oberlin will be in Europe through May 12 as a delegate to two conferences. He will be in Switzerland for the second session of the International Law of the Seas Conference then travel to London as an advisor to a conference on the international maritime satellite system. He is expected to return to Washington on May 12.
