Ian Ball a 26 year old unemployed Englishman was brought into court and charged with attempted murder during an attempt to kidnap Princess Anne in London according to AP reports.

Santa Monica California AP Edward Platt long serving Chief of CONTROL in Get Smart dies of apparent heart attack at 58. He gained fame as Don Adams boss and later appeared on General Hospital. His career included radio roles and films such as Rebel Without a Cause and The Mikado among others.
