Valley View space gains ideas presented at Germantown meeting
Germantown Superintendent Richard Jordan outlined 10 proposals to Valley View Education for adding space and reconfiguring grades. Ideas include eliminating kindergarten, splitting elementary grades, placing kindergartners with eighth graders at Farmersville, and a bond issue for a new building. Some options are radical and busing is deemed impractical. An engineer’s heating contract for Farmersville is on hold while furnaces are inspected.
