Indiana Man Dies In Crash on U.S. Route 6
A Fort Wayne man, John H. McCombs, 35, was killed when his car left the highway two miles west of the Cuyahoga line and struck trees near Avon Lake. Two other Fort Wayne men, Walter E. Beyers, 31, and Robert Waldo, 38, were hospitalized with possible skull fractures after the crash. It was the third fatal crash in six weeks on that curve.
