Cincinnati Children's Hospital seeks 24 units of blood to save a 14th local child this year from Reye's Syndrome. A hospital spokesman states that the only treatment is blood replacement.

The American Automobile Association says March allocations ease station shortages with only about 5 percent out of gas this week, down from 20 percent the prior week. Robert Hunt 22, a deaf mute, is charged with aggravated murder in the death of Ruth Arledge 56 whose body was found Sunday in Tar Hollow State Park near Chillicothe Ohio authorities said Kingston area resident Hunt lived nearby and is charged in the slaying.
